i have a fan http://i.imgur.com/Oi5M3cv.jpg i want wired to a plug, and not sure how to do that, tryed to wire it to N and L and nothing... more info its 50 hz and 220-240 v and its going to be used in denmark, so its AC

Since you only have a 2 wire cable for the connection, follow the diagram below and connect the fan.

okay thanks that helped alot. i will wire this and take a pic and post it for you when i have time, but when your saying jumper ? can that just be 1 wire going from LS to N ?

A jumper is a short piece of wire about 5-6" in length.

It is used to connect 2 points together.

DO NOT use it between the N terminal at all.

Look at the diagram please, it goes between the L and LS

Thanks for the pics.

The blue should be your neutral and connect to N

The brown should be the Live and connect to L

That is the standard wire colors.

If you think yours could have been reversed at some time, you would need a voltage tester to verify.

i know nothing about standard wire colors, but it should not matter because its AC. so if it looks good i will try to plug it in
