the wires inmy house are so old they are atlease over 80years in the bathroom out let one of the wires broke in the wall do you have to cut ahole inthe wall to put in a new line

Hi, I'm Mike and I'll be glad to assist you. From your statement of the age of the wiring, I would assume that it is what is called Knob & Tube. No splice can be mad in the wall. A replacement of the circuit is the only option. The existing circuit will need to be terminated properly. This being a bathroom, I would suggest bringing a separate 20A 120V GFCI protected circuit to it as a repair.
