I am working on a bathroom with a light and separate fan. I have two switches one for each. I have 14 ga romex coming from power source ( Black, White, ground) into switch box. I have same ( Black, white, ground) running to each the fan and light. In the switch box Do I wire all whites together ? and run 1 black into one switch ? and 1 black into the other switch ? with a black going between the two switches?
Hello and thanks for using this service,Yes you would tie all whites together. Then add two tails onto your Black(hot) one to go to each switch....then your light and fan Blacks out of the other side of each switch. Tie your grounds together and put them on the switch posts of course.That's it!Please read below before leaving....Thanks
