How do I open my Lux 1500 thermostat to change the battery

How do I open my Lux 1500 thermostat to change the battery?

77Sparky77 : Hi my name is XXXX XXX I will be happy to help you with your question.
77Sparky77 : The thermostat is made of two parts. A face and sub-base. You should be able to separate the base from the sub-base by gently pulling the face. Note: once you have pulled the old batteries you only have 1minute to replace them to retain the memory.
77Sparky77 : There is a small indention at the bitten of the thermostat. This is where the face latch is located. Push the latch and gently pull the face towards you. This will reveal the two AA size batteries.

Correction: There is a latch at the bottom of the thermostat. Sorry auto correct
