AssuredElectrical :

Hi, Welcome to Just Answer. My name is Tommy and would be glad to assist.

AssuredElectrical :

You have the catalog number, so I assume the motor still has a nameplate?

AssuredElectrical :

Wiring diagrams are on the nameplates., Is yours worn?

AssuredElectrical :

There are 2 options on your motor, nameplate tells which you have.

AssuredElectrical :

1. Y connected----------230 volt-----L1 to T1 and T7, L2 to T2 and T8, L3 to T3 and T9, Join T4 T5 and T6 together.

AssuredElectrical :

2. Y connected--460 volt----L1 to T1, L2 to T2, L3 to T3, Connect T4 and T7 together, Connect T5 and T8 together, Connect T6 and T9 together,

AssuredElectrical :

3. Delta 230 volt------L1 to T1,T6,T7---------L2 to T2,T4,T8 ------and L3 to T3,T5 and T9

AssuredElectrical :

4. Delta 460 volts-------L1 to T1, L2 to T2 and L3 to T3---Join T4 and T7 together ---Join T5 and T8 together--Join T6 and T9 together

AssuredElectrical :

Check the nameplate and see if any of the above can be seen

AssuredElectrical :

That is option 1 on a 9 lead motor

AssuredElectrical :

Now if you have a 6 lead motor, it is easier as only 2 ways to wire

AssuredElectrical :

230 volt------L1 to T1 and T6---L2 to T2 and T4---L3 to T3 and T5

AssuredElectrical :

460 volt----L1 to T1, L2 to T2 and L3 to T3------Join T4, T5 and T6 together
