I have one single pole switch at the end of a run. Two wires

Resolved Question:

I have one single pole switch at the end of a run. Two wires connect to the switch, one black and one white marked black plus a ground. After replacing the singl box to a double gang box, how do I add a second single pole switch next to the original switch and from the new switch add one security light?

thank you for your help

Hi, I'm Mike and I'll be glad to assist you. You won't be able to from that box. There isn't a neutral. The white is being used for a switch leg. To wire a light controled by that box, you'll need to feed the light and bring a switch leg to the box in the same maner as the existing one
