Customer Question

Hi,
Problem with my bosch pbh 2200 re sds plus.
I put the plug into a wall socket at a customers house and it didn't power on.I noticed a little mark on the tip of the live prong on the moulded plug.
Thought the fuse had blown. changed it for new one but still no joy. any help to get it working again would be appreciated

Expert's Answer

Bosch offers, (or at least they used to) a 50% discount on all traded in tools in place or warranty. Perhaps this is your best choice? If not then you should send it to a Bosch authorized dealer.

Expert's Answer

You might try checking U have 240 volts at the drill switch, often the cords break due to misuse close to where they enter the drill body.

Then sir, if your cord is fine and the switch too, then for use early tomorrow morning you really do need that magic wand. Good luck to you, but don;t forget JustAnswer in the future for more reasonable requests.

Expert's Answer

By insisting you have it fixed by early tomorrow morning for work (which in your UK time is probably only 6 hours hence) YES it is totally unreasonable. I I were you I would buy a new one for your important job tomorrow and worry about the repair on this one later.
