I have a 36 v cart that someome one added a converter to it

I have a 36 v cart that someome one added a converter to it it and then ran wiring to a cigarette lighter and then to a switch to power another switch that turns on the lights. I want to put a switch back in that controls the on off power and lights and do away with the other garabage.
JA: Just to clarify, what are the exact lights you're talking about?
Customer: head and tail lights
JA: What is the model/year of your electric?
Customer: 1999 txt
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: am doing myself and so far I removed those other switches and the convertor
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: i want to use the 4 prong key switch that should be used

The problem with you wanting to remove the voltage converter, is the light bulbs now need to be 36 volts or you will have to take power from two of the batteries, to keep using the 12 volt bulbs you now have. You need a power wire and a negative wire to work the switch, and each light has to have power and a negative back to the circuit. As the cart is not a grounded system, where the frame would be ground. What can I do to help
