#6 volt cart? TXT model? Does charger come on when attached to the cart? Fully charged battery pack should be around 39 volts. What does battery pack read with meter? Each battery 6.5 volts? When cart slos, what does pack and each battery read?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Don't know what it reads when stops but when it stops if you wait a few minutes it will go also my charger is a old time Kent only works if you turn it on plus batteries have to be charged all the time could this be in the shifter contacts
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 2 months ago.

Sounds like a bad battery or a bad cable!

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Replaced one bad battery but did not fix the problem still slows after a little use
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 2 months ago.

You need a voltmeter to check each battery and the cables, and to see if the battery pack is getting a full charge from the charger. The pack should be around 39 volts when fully charged! With cart slowing, and stopping, and will run short way after sitting, is classic low battery voltage.

I see question is still open, did you find the problem?

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Just going to replace all batteries and cables
Expert:  Curtis B. replied 2 months ago.

Best to always replace batteries in sets, as they typically are all same age and will fail one after another. Thanks!

Expert:  Curtis B. replied 2 months ago.

You just need the five to go with the one you already bought. Batteries are like a chain, the weakest one is what affects the rest!

Customer: replied 2 months ago.
Replacing all six the one I replaced was a rebuilt
