I have a1981 club car, it runs fine in the forward direction

I have a1981 club car, it runs fine in the forward direction but when I put it in reverse it starts running full speed. I have already changed the forward / reverse selector and checked the wiring, appears to be wired correctly according to te on line diagrams

Goes full speed as soon as the reverse selector is moved? Or when you press the pedal? F/R switch hooked up like this attached diagram?

You do have all the solenoids and resistor pack? I wonder if a solenoid is not stuck?

I answered last night that it has resistors but no relays under each resistor, only 1 relay is picked up when the normally open contacts on the micro switches on the forward/reverse and speed switch is activated

reverse is not going through the resistor pack, as high speed is direct voltage to the drive motor.
