Customer Question

E-Z GO RVX (electric). Fine yesterday. Today get an obnoxious beeping, are tone as the steady reverse warning buzzer, at all key switch positions (except "off"). Cart will not move. Where to start?
JA: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?
Customer: Charger indicates a steady green. Lights appear bright.
JA: What is the model/year of your electric?
Customer: Errrrr. I think 2011.
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Not much. Checked charging. checked towing switch. Looked for something loose. There's plenty of power to the obnoxious beeping.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not really. I've only owned this beast about 5 months. Has new batteries. Supposedly rebuilt.

Do you have a voltmeter to check the battery pack voltage and each battery? Are you getting full 48 volts to the electric brake on the drive motor?
