Customer Question

1998 Club car that is drawing down 50ma without being connected. What could be possible source and how to fix it. All new 8 volt batteries in late 2014; have had a new battery replaced twice this year because it was not meeting expected volts (8-10) - is this somehow connected?

Check # 20 resistor, to see if it is the source of the voltage drain. Check the drain, then remove one end of the resistor. Picture attached below.

Don't think so - checking selenoid now.

Curtis- Club car is 1998 - not same as as 2001 schematics you sent. There is no on-board computer and no selenoid in the position noted. Any other information?

Is there a resistor on the solenoid? Solenoid is at the end of the posiitve battery cable from battery pack.
