I have a 48V car, used a lot. Just replaced batteries, but would stop unexpected. I tightened groun cable, ran for five minutes. stopped, tighten, ran. Now starts to move, then stops. did not replace cables, but look ok.I suspect a grounding short but can not reach the distal end without taking off body.

Make of cart? Ezgo, Club Car, other? Do you have a voltmeter to test battery pack voltage? Does the charger come on when attached to cart?

Club car,full charge,worked great for 1 week after battery replacement.

That makes me think the charger is not charging the batteries. Need a voltmeter to confirm chrger operation.
