How long does charger run ? Do you have voltmeter to check the voltage at pack, before and after charging? How long does the charge last?

Do you have Curtis controller, or the older mechanical speed control?
Customer: replied 5 months ago.
not sure on the speed control charger has a 7 stage charge right now last about 2 hours or so not deep cycle batts

Cart should run much longer on the tractor batteries than it is now. Batteries full of water? Fully charged battery should be close to 6.5 volts! Pack will be close to 39 volts.

they are 39.2 amp hours of those batts are only like 70 compared to golf cart batts at 140 to 260 etc

You can replace two at a time over three month period, I was just trying to be sure that charger is working correctly and cart does operate .

ok do those tractor batteries work???? i also heard of guys adding one more batt to bank making it 40 v is that a good idea???? maybe i have some cable issues if the tractor batteries should work fine your throughts

Tractor battery will work, but they do not have the amp hour reserve as the deep cycle batteries. I would not add any other battery , to many problems with added voltage. Cables need to be good on any battery pack! Just as important as batteries!
