Electric Vehicles: I have an E-Z-GO 36 volt golf cart Yr. 2000.

Customer Question

I have an E-Z-GO 36 volt golf cart Yr. 2000. I have replaced the batteries with Trogan T-105 batteries. All batteries test 6 volts and all together 37 volts. I run the cart about 1/2 hr. per day and after 4 days the batteries need recharing. When the cart was newer
it only needed charging once a month.

How long does the charger cycle last? Charger should stay on around 8 hours for a full charge, and at end of charger cycle, battery voltage on 36 volt system should be around 39 volts. Do all batteries have same voltage, around 6.3 ? Typical short charge life is caused by short cycling by the charger.

I see question still open, did you get to check the charger ?
