Customer Question

Hi I've got a carryall 2 48 volt with forward but no reverse. Voltage is good and I hear the contactor click in forward and reverse. Any ideas?

Typical problem with one direction only, is the directinal switch. Swap wires on the f/r switch and see if problem changes places. If it does, replace or repair the F/R switch.

It seems ok. I get battery voltage on both wires in both f/R.

I would check the switch by doing the swap. Then I would trace down the reverse wire from switch to controller/motor.

If you don't have any other ideas I'm done

The only thing that changes the direction is the directional switch. Everything else stays the same. Either switch is bad or the wire from the reverse side is bad.
