Ok, then it should be in the library of your Kindle.
Do you see it listed there in the library on the cloud?
Can you tell me the model Kindle please.
If your not sure, go to settings, devices info and tell me the serial number
What you need to do is update the firmware on the Kindle to regain access.
You can do this by carefully following the instructions here
Then you should be able to access it.
The Kindle version needs to get to 3.4.1

Release, then connect the charger and try to turn on the Kindle.

If you go to the cloud on the Kindle you should see it there and can select it to download
When you go to your list of books, you should see cloud there, if not what do you see?

Whats the error you get when it fails to register?
Can you do a full reset of the Kindle please, so go to Menu, Settings, Menu, Factory Reset
Complete this and tell me if you can now register it please
