I want to download a book but I am unable. The message received is that the book is in my wish list. I was able to download the sample, but not the book. Patr
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: Kindle very old. No fire. I have never had problems before
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?

When a book is in the Wish List, but cannot be downloaded, except for the sample, it is almost undoubtedly, because you have not bought the book yet.

(A Wish List is basically a shopping list.)

The exception to the above is, when your Kindle has lost its internet or WiFi connection, perhaps. Check on that, and try again, then assume that you have not bought the book yet.
