My granddaughter has a Kindle she has a pin number that they cannot remember. It is connected to my Amazon account and I do not want them to have my password ***** reset what are my options
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?
Customer: It's relatively new it just came out in September and it said Kindle fire
JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I have tried several things this evening but other than that it's been a while since I've tried to get online

Thanks for clarifying. There are a few things we can try for this.

On the password ***** type 'resetmykindle' without the quotations as the password. This will reset the device to factory, however Amazon saves all of your purchases so that you don't lose them. Simply reregister the Kindle with the same username and password ***** before.

OR Try to enter this number:###-##-####
