My kindle fire does not seem to provide narration whe I tried a sample
JA: What's the make/model of your device? How old is it?

JA: How long has this been going on? What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I just tried the narration sample it is an early fire

Hi!

  1. While reading, tap the center of the screen, and then tap Aa (Settings).
  2. Tap More Options, and then tap On next to Text-to-Speech.
  3. Tap the screen to show the reading toolbar again, and then tap the Play button next to the reading progress bar to hear the text read aloud. You can either listen through your Kindle's external speakers or through your earphones plugged into the headphone jack.
