- On your computer, click on the Amazon website below:
, then sign in your Amazon account if prompted
, then there, you can read your kindle books.
- If that does not work, click on Start (which is the windows logo icon located at the bottom left of the computer's screen), then click on Settings (gear icon) if available, then click on System -> Apps..., then scroll down as needed, then uninstall / remove the (Amazon) Kindle app, if it's there, for now.
; (Or press at the same time the two keys Windows logo and R on the keyboard, then type appwiz.cpl then click OK, then scroll down as needed, then uninstall / remove the (Amazon) Kindle app, if it's there, for now.)
- Then click on the Amazon website below:
, then open the download file KindleForPC-installer... and install it
, once installation is done, then open the Kindle app program and use it and check.
