I dropped my kindle now I can't open any books to read. I as reading one when i dropped it. However, it would come up like it would open but when I tapped it again it gets small again and won't open to the wording. I tried several other books and the same thing happened.

This is usually an issue with the Firmware, so I would first like you to do this please.

Remove the charger from the Kindle and hold the power button to off for 35 seconds.

Release, then connect the charger and try to turn on the Kindle and use it
