Have you powered off the Nook yet? if you haven't please do so. Wait a full minute and then turn it back on. If that doesn't work, would it be possible for you to power off the wifi router and the internet modem( if you have one...sometimes they're all in one)? Routers and modems like most electronics benefit from being restarted on a regular basis.
