Customer Question

I have two kindles and the first one has broken so I have tried to transfer the books to my second kindle, but then it wont let me open these books as it says they are to a different licence.
I deregistered the broken Kindle and now the kindle doesn't recognise my account email or password.

This sounds like a password/authentication issue.

What is the Amazon account email that you used on the first (broken)Kindle?

Check your e-mail.

You will receive an email with instructions for resetting your password. If you don't receive this email, please check your junk mail folder. After you reset the password, deregister the new Kindle then register again using the new password.
