I was given a Kindle paperwhite and I do not have wireless

Customer Question

I was given a Kindle paperwhite and I do not have wireless internet. I had a keyboard at the bottom and it asked for me to type in an account. I had trouble and tried to skip that part, but it will not allow me to continue and now the keyboard has gone. What should I do first?

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. You need Wi-Fi/wireless internet in order to set up the kindle and you need Wi-Fi / wireless Internet in order to download books on the kindle.

- Please press and hold the Power on/off button on the Kindle for about 30 seconds, then turn it back on and check.

If needed, tap on the box where you want to type, then the keyboard should pop up.

Please reply at the box below to continue troubleshooting. Thank you.
