Im trying to read a book purchased from Amazon, but after

Resolved Question:

I'm trying to read a book purchased from Amazon, but after a few pages and I come back to it, my kindle is very slow to come on then it blinks a box on scr)een (Unable to open item) "The selected item could not be opened. If you purchased this item from Amazon, delete the item and download it again from Archived items on Home" But it won't let me do anything!

Can you please tell me which kindle do you have? Kindle, Kindle Touch, Kindle Keyboard, Kindle Touch, Kindle Fire etc.?

namstech :

This might be due to a temporary software error. Resetting the kindle normally clears such errors.

namstech :

Try resetting your kindle as follows:

namstech :

If your kindle has a protective leather cover, remove it.

namstech :

If it is plugged in for charging or connected to computer, unplug it.

namstech :

Depending on the model of your kindle, it will sliding or push type power switch.

namstech :

Slide/Press and hold the power switch for 20-30 seconds and then release. The kindle screen should flicker and the kindle should start to reboot (restart)

namstech :

Kindle will take a few minutes to completely start up.

namstech :

Once it does, check it for normal operation.

namstech :
