I ordered a Kindle Fire for my husband on December 21,2011. It has worked fine until now when it will not charge.
I took it to Best Buy and they checked it and told me it is defective and they can't exchange it since I didn't buy it from them. I have purchased another Kindle Fire for myself from them and I was wondering if the one I ordered in December for my husband that is defective can be sent back to Amazon and exchanged for a new one for him?
Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer.I believe your firmware may need resetting. Try rebooting your Kindle by pressing and holding the power button for 20 seconds. Wait one minute and try turning it on and using it. If the Kindle still malfunctions, please let me know.
