Customer Question

My Kindle Fire appears to be stuck on Facebook. I can't get it to close, go to another page, nor shut off. It's been on this same page for nearly 12 hours now. Help, please.

Already Tried:
Pressing the on/off button; trying to move from FB to Yahoo. Nothing appears to work. The Kindle is very hot to touch.

Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer.

I believe your firmware may need resetting. Try rebooting your Kindle by pressing and holding the power button for 20 seconds. Wait one minute and try turning it on and using it. If the Kindle still malfunctions, please let me know.

Thanks, Rob! It has rebooted! I didn't know that I needed to depress the on/off button in order to reboot. You've been very helpful.
