I have restarted it and the print is still really faint. I am just comparing this to the darkness when I first received it.

In that case can you please tell me how I can keep the books that I have purchased from being deleted. I will be sending the unit back to Kobo, but would like to retain all my purchases.

Thank you.

Hi,

Don't worry, the books that you have already purchased would remain in your Kobo account online and you would be able to redownload them even if they send you a new unit.

I have called the number you suggested and we did a factory restart and the problem still persisted. The man will contact their return department and the unit will have to be repaired or replaced. Thank you for your help.
