I have a kindle fire and when I tap on a book, it keeps going back to the shelf. I can't open it.

 



Already Tried:
I have turned it off and restarted it. I have gone to other books. same results. It seems to be frozen at 55% on the book I'm reading

Hi there happy to help.

 

Please try the following.......

 

Unplug the Kindle from all outside sources.

 

Press and Hold the power button for 20 seconds and release.

 

Press the power button once more to restart the Kindle.

 

The Kindle should restart.

 

It SHOULD come back without problems.
