I have a regular Kindle and for the last several months I have trouble with it either not booting up after being turned off and now it actually forces a re-boot sometimes when just turning a page. This is very frustrating especially when it happens several times a day as it has for the last week or so. Is there a solution or is something wrong with the Kindle itself? Shannon

I realize that this is not suppose to be the usual with a Kindle. My Kindle was purchased a year ago Januaury 2011. I have had the re-boot problem for some time but it has progressively gotten worse and worse.
Hi Shannon,The normal warranty on the Kindle is 1 year and you are closely outside of it. I have helped customers who were still able to get the warranty replacement even though they were outside of the 1 year. I would recommend you call Amazon and see if they will replace it for you. At worst, they will offer you a discount on the new Kindle Fire. Please call Amazon here ---> 1-866-321-8851 Let them know that your Kindle has hardware issues and you need a replacement
