Your Kobo desktop update is not working says we must install. However, when we try it says it can't be done and we have to abort. If we click cancel it only kicks us out of the system and we can't move on to try to sync the books we purchased.
We have owned the E-Reader since December and have never had any problems downloading books until now. Today, when we wanted to go into our account and purchase two books, a notice came up saying that updates were ready for our Kobo E-Reader Desktop. There was no way of getting around the update, so we clicked on install - it appeared to be preparing to install, however, when we tried to complete the task, a message came up saying it couldn't complete the task and we had to "abort" which kicked us out of the system (this happened on several attempts). We can't seem to by-pass or get around this task. We went into the Kobo site and purchased a couple of books, however, when it came time to sync the books, it won't let us - still wants us to install the updates, but won't complete the task. Do you have any suggestions on who to call to fix the problem?
