Resolved Question:

My Kobo Touch will not turn on. When I try the power switch, the blue light flickers on briefly a second later, but the screen remains powered off. Is it defective?

Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer.

Try resetting it by inserting a straightened paper clip or similar object into the reset hole on the back. You should feel a click when you do this. Let me know if this doesn't work.

Sorry Rob, that did not work (I had tried it already). I also tried the reset while switching the power off.

Okay, one last thing. Plug it into the charger for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes and with it still plugged in, press the reset button and hold it for 10 seconds. Then try turning it on one more time. If this doesn't work, let me know when you purchased it.
