My nook has water damage. Is there anyway to save it?

Was it on when got wet and how wet did it get, just splash or soaked... The ole trick is to open the unit, remove battery, place the pcb in container with some dry rice to dry out any moisture. Then after few hours of drying put the assembly back to together and see if it lives.

If not circuit damage then should come back up, otherwise if not getting a response may have a shorted out component on the Nook power supply path and require to be serviced or replaced.
