The charging port on my nook is loose and sometimes wont charge. Is there a way that I could fix it myself?

The Charging port-a micro usb port-of the Nook is soldered to its main logic board. With such configurations, you will have to resolder the connector back on the logic board. It can be done, but you will have to disassemble the whole nook and then resolder the port back on place-the solder points are really small, so you will need some experience soldering.
