AnswerManRob :

Hello and thank you for using JustAnswer.

AnswerManRob :

The first step is to try to reboot the Kindle. Slide and hold the power switch for 20 seconds. If the Kindle doesn't come back to life, please let me know.

We'll try to force a reboot. Plug the Kindle into the wall charger for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes and while still plugged into the charger, slide and hold the power switch until the screen flickers. This could take up to a minute. Let me know if the Kindle fails to reboot.

This is not good. How old is the Kindle?

Customer replied 725 days ago.

Not quite two years old.

Unfortunately, it seems your Kindle is broken and out of warranty. Contact Kindle Repair Support at(NNN) NNN-NNNN They provide a flat-rate repair or replace quote. You may want to trade it in and upgrade when you do this.

Sorry I couldn't get your Kindle operating, but it's beyond a user level fix.
