I has my 6th spine surgery in late July. The orthopedic surgeon took me off all pain medication. A friend gave me some Tramadol to take because I am in so much pain. I have an appt with pain mgt. next week and need to know if I stop taking the Tramadol on 12/4/15 if I will test positive for opiates on 12/9/15?

My orthopedic surgeon had me on Norco. I was just informed that the pain mgt. doctor drug tests all new patients!

tramadol will not show up on routine urine tox screen tests looking for opiates.

even if you didn't stop on 12/4, it will not show up.

norco will show up, so don't take norco.

but you should be fine.
