I have not found any scientific studies showing ginkgo as a cause of false positive drug tests. Even if this were theoretically possible, this would only influence the screening immunoassay tests. GC/MS confirmation testing on any specimen would eliminate any theoretic interference with the screening immunoassay.

You should know that ginkgo is a "impermissible" supplement under NCAA rules (for student athletes)

If a screening test such as a home test, dipstick or other "instant" test is positive, it should be repeated with GC/MS confirmation on the same specimen.
