does tramadol show up on a urine drug screen and if so does

This answer was rated:

does tramadol show up on a urine drug screen and if so does it show on immunoassi or chromtograph and how long after last dose how long will it show positive?
The standard 5 test panel does not identify tramadol. There are however tests that can identify tramadol in urine for for 3-5 days (most sources use the shorter detection period).

does tramadol sgow up ona 10 panel test just looking for drugs of abuse, methamphetamine, morphine, ecstasy, cocaine, methadone opiods, codeine
Unfortunately, my initial answer was given blind - not knowing the specific panel that was being used.

The simple answer is NO - tramadol is not a member of any of those classes. HOWEVER, there are reports of tramadol causing false positive results for PCP on immunoassay (dipstick, site of collection devices or home test). When the specimen is then sent for confirmation testing with GC/MS (gas chromatrography - mass spectrometry), the test will be reported negative.

To identify tramadol, you need to do a specific test - it will not show on the standard "opiate" panel since it does not metabolize to codeine, morphine or 6-acetyl morphine.
