1) Are hair strand drug tests quantitative or merely qualitative

Resolved Question:

1) Are hair strand drug tests quantitative or merely qualitative? For example, for opiates, can the type of opiate &/or the strength of the drug be detected by hair strand test?
2) Does Tramadol or the newer "SuperTramadol" show up on hair strand drug testing?

Hair testing typically is quantitative (actual levels/concentrations are reported), however the detection of the particular drug above the threshold of detection will be reported as POSITIVE regardless of the actual level.

Hair testing can be done for tramadol, but it is not included in all hair testing panels.
