NO - neither of these would cause a false positive for cocaine.

Tha Adderall will cause a positive for amphetamines, but it will not be reported as cocaine.

what would cause a postive result 300mg and I have never done concaine

Customer: replied 6 years ago.
what could cause a postive result if I have not used cocaine

If ritilian or adderall would not cause a postive result on a urnine test what would? I have not used cocaine

The only things that have been scientifically shown to test positive for cocaine on urine drug test are cocaine and coca leaf tea (illegal in the USA since it contains cocaine). Cocaine is still ocassionally used as a local anesthetic in repair of some lacerations or in nasal surgery. If you had been treated by a physician for any nasal/sinus surgery in the 3-5 days before the test, you would want to check if they used cocaine.

The other important point, despite a lack of scientific evidence, theoretically something could cause a false positive if the test was not confirmed with GC/MS. The instant and dipstick type test do not use this technology. The GC/MS would have to be done at a large lab, and eliminates the possibility of these types of false positives. The only scientifically valid explanation of a postive test for cocaine that was actually performed with GC/MS confirmation would be cocaine use OR a lab error (wrong specimen).

GC/MS refers to the techology used to perform a drug test. This technology (Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry) essentially produces a unique "chemical fingeprint" for each substance. Any drug test that is positive with the screening tests should then be sent for GC/MS confirmation. The larger labs typically perform this on al drug tests done for employement etc.

You would want to check if the test was confirmed with GC/MS.
