i dream of i cut my 2 legs, and put it back again and the my step 2 kids we are all playing and waiting for me

Do you recall other details from the dream i.e. were you in pain, afraid, etc?
Cutting off your legs may be symbolic to feeling as though things are not moving (feeling stuck) Yet, you're able to put your legs back on which, may indicate the ability to proceed on after a set back.
Your step children did not seem to be frightened when this happened and were still playing. This could be indicative of a set back that is going to be trivial rather than injurious in the long run.
The act of cutting your legs off by yourself can also be related to you in some way believing that you've done something to hinder your progress/onward move.
