I have often dreamed that I walk into what looks like the women's restroom of my college dorm (which was a long time ago because I'm now 45) and when I go into the toilet stall I notice that there's water on the floor, which I assume is overflow water from other people's showers. It's not a lot of water, just enough to get my feet wet. I'm always in my bare feet and I don't like the fact that my feet are in dirty water. I never seem to have flip flops on or something to keep my feet dry and out of the dirty water. I'm not afraid of the water, I'm just really grossed out that my feet are in dirty water.
Thank you for sharing your dream. Restrooms usually represent processing emotional issues in life. The college dorm can be representing a level of teaching being offered to you in real life. Is the water clear that you notice that is on the floor? If so, this usually suggests a overflow of emotions, a overwhelming effect of some kind of emotional process in the waking life. If the water is dirty as in cloudy where you cannot see through it, then this emotional overflow is "muddy", you may not be able to see clearly through the emotional turmoil. Being that you are barefooted and annoyed that you have to stand in someones elses dirty water may be representing that in real life there is something going on where you feel there is a spill over into your life, that you have to deal with, even though you didn't ask for it. Being barefoot (Wanting flip flops) may be that you do not feel equipped or prepared to deal with the overflow. Feet in dreams resemble your walk. Does this make sense? Please ask any questions if you have any, I am happy to help. Thank you and blessing.
