for 2 whole years i dreamt of smoke that has a white glow wrap its way around my body. It never hurts me but it scares the living daylights out of me every time. I scream so hard that my heart is racing and it takes me a good few minutes to settle down. This dream left my world and gave me peace for the last 3 years - for the first time it returned once again and this time my scream was the loudest and it took longer to calm back down
Already Tried: changing my pillows sold my home built a new home changed environments
Has someone important died recently? Or in the past when you first began experiencing this dream? While the smoke doesn't hurt you...it could be a form of someone's spirit that you are seeing (which scares some people). If no one has passed away recently, were you hurt by someone close to you?
The feeling you had in the past, scared and the feeling you have now, a protective feature, is a positive! If you feel as though the white glowing smoke is like a protector, this may mean that your mind (or subconscious) is opening up to some of these answers you may be looking for. The brain is a very protective organ, and if it thinks you won't be able to handle something right away, it will store the memory away for later. The fact that your dreams are now opening up to what was stored away is good, as it can be very cathartic. Does this help?
