Customer Question

My 9yo, 90lb Lab MIGHT have eaten one 100mg Seroquel--I'm not sure. Whether or not she did consume it, she ate her dinner soon thereafter. She's sleeping now, which is consistent with her nightly routine. I don't have transportation to emergency vet...Thank you for your advice.

Quetiapine (Seroquel) is very well tolerated by dogs at doses far in excess of 100mg in a 90 lb dog. Studies in which dogs received 100 mg per kg of body weight for 6 months revealed cataract formation but no dogs were lost. There's no need to induce emesis or treat in any manner. Transient sedation is possible. Please respond with further questions or concerns.
