Ask a Dog Vet and Get Answers to Your Dog Health Questions
Hello, I'm Dr Gary. I've been practicing veterinary medicine since 2007. I look forward to helping with your questions/ concerns.
Avemar could be tried with bone cancer, though there are no proven benefits or published doses. There is only one study with cancer in dogs, and that was ovarian cancer. In that study, it seemed to improve the use of other conventional therapeutics.
I wouldn't use that on it's own, but in addition to other treatments/ chemotherapy, it could be helpful.
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions.
