My dog is not eating & is just sleeping. She is a shihtzu . I took her to the vet Friday ,he said she had a little fever & she had a little bacteria. Gave her a shot & endosorb. She is drinking water & peeing but she won't eat unless I fed her.. Please help
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. It could be an infection. The Veterinarian will know what to do. What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: Her name is Charlee & she will 4 in February
JA: How old is Charlee?
Customer: She will 4 years old in February
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about Charlee?
Customer: Her Bowles moved Friday but not since then. She is also peeing on herself

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.

Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner, but can you tell me:

What was the shot she got?

What treatments is she on just now?

Any gagging, retching, lip licking, drooling or vomiting?

Can she keep water down?

Are her gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?

If you press on her belly, any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?

Could she have eaten something she should not have (ie bones, toys, plants, chemicals, etc)?

Is that urine watery? Is she passing big or small volumes? Straining?

Or does she just seem like she doesn't want to move when she needs to go?
