Please clarify cherry laurel berries for me. Is this a candy or plant material?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
Cherry laurel is a plant. There is cyanide in the berries and leaves. I just calles a vet. I've induced vomitting and will monitor. She said they are only harmful in large quantities.

Thank you. Please see here: http://www.aspca.org/pet-care/animal-poison-control/toxic-and-non-toxic-plants/laurel

Inducing emesis was smart and should be curative.
