For the last few hours my dog has been excessively drooling,

Customer Question

Hi! For the last few hours my dog has been excessively drooling, eating grass (already had a vomit) and 'belches' if that makes sense? Every time he shuts his mouth he looks like he is going to vomit..
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it didn't make a mess. Did your dog eat anything unusual?
Customer: Not that we are aware off.
JA: What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: Dogs name is ***** ***** he is 7 1/2 year old Labrador. He did have a sarcoma removed from his leg about 2-3 weeks ago
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about Jethro?
Customer: That should be it. :)

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.

Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner, but can you tell me:

How long has he has these signs?

Can he keep water down?

Are his gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?

If you press on his belly, any discomfort, tenderness, or tensing?

Could he have eaten something he should not have (ie bones, toys, plants, chemicals, etc)?
