JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Could be a lot of things that cause lethargy. The veterinarian will know how to help your dog. What is the dog's name and age?
Customer: Groot and he is about 4-5 months old.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the veterinarian should know about Groot?
Customer: He was completely fine this morning and now he's like this is all

Hello,
Thank you for using Just Answer. My name is***** am a veterinarian and will do my best to help.

I am sorry to hear about Groot's breathing. If you check his gums, do they look pink in color?

Does he have to open his mouth to breathe, is he panting?

Expert:  Rebecca replied 1 month ago.

Labored breathing can indicate fever, stress, fluid in the lungs, anemia (low red blood cells, pale gums).

Is he eating?

If his gums look pale, this may be an emergency.

I hope you were able to see my responses; I have not heard back from you! How is Groot doing?
